Is it possible to get vegan shoes without spending a lot of money?

I’m looking at Vegan Shoes on the Internet (there are no vegan stores in my area) and they’re all very expensive.

Do you live near a Payless store? They have tons of inexpensive, man-made shoes.

Stores that sell non-leather shoes:

Hope this helps!

i understand not eating meat but ….once the animal is dead ..the skin has to be used for something….not that big of a deal save money an wear regular shoes

OR you could always get cloth ..like chuck taylors..

Definitely. Get a pair of rubber flip flops for 5-10 bucks! Anything that says "100% man-made materials" is vegan and can be found almost anywhere!

To answer your question, SUPyo, the cows used for leather and the cows used for meat are usually completely different cows. The ones killed for leather are killed for just that, their skin.

Payless has tons of cheap synthetic shoes. If you shop for "vegan" shoes, you’re entering an exclusive market and you’re going to pay extra. If you shop for "synthetic" shoes, you’re entering a bargain market where shoes are marketed to people who can’t afford real leather. But it’s the same stuff.
