I just wanted to know my mom wants me to get some sneakers for the winter. and i don’t like many.

my style isn’t really sneakers. i

f you have any other suggestions for shoes wouldn’t mind them

Nike does have a few tht are totally hemp. They are under the Nike Dunks line. Try them out!

What should I wear tonight? (going to a bar for the first time)?

I am in NYC for a short time and I am going to a bar for the first time – what should I wear? I packed lucky jeans, a couple of Express vneck t shirts, a pair of brown leggings, grey tights, a denim skirt, a sleveless cotton empire waisted casual dress and a few tank tops. i have pearl earrings, diamond earrings and some peace earrings. i brought my every day white Vegan Sneakers, some green flats and some fake uggs (i just brought them for the bus here and back, theyre so ugly..)

what should i wear? haha
it’s not going to be cold, the low is 40 (its 66 right now!) and i have a few cardigans and of course my winter pea coat, i’m not worried about being cold. also, should i bring a purse?

V neck tee-shirt
denim skirt (its short right?)
grey/brown leggings (whichever goes better with the color of the shirt obviously)
You don’t exactly have the right shoes…

Vegan lifestyle – What to wear?

um im just curious about what materials i should avoid, other than suede, leather, cashmere, and fur. ive done that for a while now. pleather is awesome though. saved my life. i used to be addicted to coach and dooney & bourke purses. i have a collection and i still use them because im 18 and my mother would kick my ass if i sold them because you usually dont get what you bought it for. plus its like some sort of motherly thing where she bought them for me on birthdays graduations and such things …i dont know she gets koo koo about that stuff. but now im into designers that use pleather and faux fur. guess, rocawear, baby phat, etc. most of the time anyway i dont know if its exclusive.

i think shoes are the hardest. i love sneakers so im stuck on canvas shoes and i avoid leather but most shoes are made of leather.

are there any great INEXPENSIVE brands that vegans follow?
oh fuck. i didnt even think about wool…damn.

No…fricken…idea.

Sorry :[

BUT BEST OF LUCK WITH THAT! :]
By the way, converse come in so many different designs that I don’t know that it would be a problem being stuck to only canvas sneaker brands.

:]

Hope I helped… even if only a little

Steel toe Vegan footwear?

Is there such a thing as footwear that has a steal toe yet is Vegan? I need steel toe shoes for a new job. They can be sneakers, or boots. I’d prefer if they were sneakers. Anyone feel like helping me look?

And yes, I know this is the wrong section because this has nothing to do with food… I’m sorry about that, but I didn’t feel I’d get accurate responses elsewhere.
Please, no cracks about how stealing a toe isn’t Vegan… Gotta love typos.

Google it and you’ll be surprised to find out a few companies make steel toed vegan boots. MooShoes has some I believe.

VEGANS / I need shoes! ?

I’m trying to find good Vegan Sneakers that are good for exercizing.

As in running/jogging, and general aerobics stuff.
Shoes that offer good support. . . ?

NOT Converse.
I’ve heard converse aren’t good in the support area. Easily get stress fractures …

And I’m not exactly sure what I’m looking for via internet. I have no one to talk to on the internet, like a salesperson. They don’t exactly say "Good for this this and that."
All anything says is "good for running" and "jogging" and "walking" and "hiking". . . I just am not sure if they are ok for other stuff.

For instance, Jumping Jacks. Lunges. Etc . . . ? Stuff that’s not jogging.

Anyone know what I’d have to look for in a shoe for it to be appropriate and safe for that kind of stuff?

This is my favorite on-line store:

whats running sneakers can i fnd at foolocker are vegan?

I didn’t buy my New Balance shoes at Foot Locker, but they would be considered vegan as they are not made with any animal products other than petroleum – which if you are a strict vegetarian, you would not wear but instead wear only canvas shoes (cotton not animal based).

Just have to read the labels in the shoes to know. A pain, I agree. But it is the only way to be sure.
