Non Leather Shoes for Healthy Feet

Healthy feet are happy feet. Can non leather shoes help keep your feet healthy? Is a Vegan Shoe what you need for healthy feet? Let’s look at a couple foot conditions, the causes and recommended prevention tips before we decide. Athlete’s foot, I’m sure you have heard it. I hope you have never had to deal with it. It is a fungal infection that usually occurs between the toes. Most often contracted in showers, gyms, dressing rooms, swimming pool locker rooms, and other warm damp areas. Good foot hygiene is important, daily washing with soap and water followed by thorough drying. Wear dry airy shoes and socks help keep the feet dry. When using public showers and pool areas user protective footwear, a good shower show or flip-flop. Dry airy shoes and flip-flops, sounds like Non Leather Shoes to me. Toenail Fungus. You pick this up pretty much the same way you do athlete’s foot. About ½ of us will get it by age 70. It is more difficult to treat, so prevention is the key. Prevention is similar as well with the added recommendation of not wearing nail polish on the toes. Protective shoes such as sandals and shower shoes when you are in public pool areas and public showers and locker rooms. Wearing dry airy shoes and socks is recommended. These are all types of non leather shoes and vegan sneakers. The sandals and flip-flops are more about protection from picking up the fungus. Dry airy shoes and socks is about keeping your feet dry and letting them breathe. Letting your feet breathe and stay dry is not something leather does well. Nice casual non leather shoes are what you want. We use to call them sneakers or boat shoes back in the day. Now it’s, vegan shoe and vegan sneakers. I can tell you one thing for sure, the choices in non leather shoes today are far, far better than back in the old sneaker and boat shoe days when Keds were about the only choice. Technology is wonderful.

I am in NYC for a short time and I am going to a bar for the first time – what should I wear? I packed lucky jeans, a couple of Express vneck t shirts, a pair of brown leggings, grey tights, a denim skirt, a sleveless cotton empire waisted casual dress and a few tank tops. i have pearl earrings, diamond earrings and some peace earrings. i brought my every day white Vegan Sneakers, some green flats and some fake uggs (i just brought them for the bus here and back, theyre so ugly..)

what should i wear? haha
oh! and how should i wear my hair? it’s shoulder length with what used to be side swept bangs.

something Business like….. Oh… I live in Ny about 25 minutes from NYC… Ha… Oh and I recommend some kind of weapon there’s some shady characters down there.

It looks like those are all Osiris brand shoes. So I would go to their company site and look at the shoes you’re interested in. It lists the materials for most shoes. (All I’m seeing is leather, suede, nubuck, etc., unfortunately.) You could also contact the company and ask if they have any man-made shoes.

I already have a pair of nice dress shoes that I found at a thrift store that luckily fit my size. Same with a pair of slip on sneakers and some nice vans. Unfortunately such finds are fairly rare and all the sweat shop free shoes I find are so horribly expensive! I can’t pay 50 dollars for a pair of shoes that won’t last more than a couple years! I’m considering investing in some vegan combat boots since those will last ten years. Are there any other options though?

What label does this style sound like to you?

For some reason I always am getting people try to stick a subculture I am not part of onto me.I generally mix up casual shirts with a vest, tie and/or suit jacket, but sometimes I will wear a romantic goth looking shirt. For pants I generally wear tight jeans or dress pants. I have one pair of really cool pants covered in buckles though. For shoes I wear plain sneakers but I am planning to get a pair of vegan combat boots once I have the money since those will last a long time. I generally wear plain belts, except for a rainbow bullet belt and a leopard print rhinestone studded belt. I often wear a fedora but I have some cool looking hats other than that. Right now I have a fauxhawk, but I’m growing it out though I am not sure what style. Probably will just be plain and to my shoulders with a fringe or something. Maybe I will make it wavy with braiding or something. For makeup I just wear black eyeliner with occasionally blue, pink or purple underneath it. I’m at some point going to make some dark red and/or black lipstick but I don’t have the time yet. I am a guy, by the way. When my hair was longer I put in hair extensions and hair clips and will probably do that again.
By the way, I’m not doing this as a method of finding a label. I am asking this because I’m curious what people think fits on me.

I would say some bizarre variation of the gothic subculture, but then again I reckon you are just you.

Need Help With Some Possible Leather Shoes!!! :(?

i recently replaced my old worn out pair of shoes with a pair of airwalk sneakers. they looked exactly like a pair of converse Vegan Shoes from the canvas top side of the shoe, so i decided to buy them. a few days later i decided to inspect them more carefully, and discovered a soft material on the bottom of the outsole of the shoe that i can not identify myself. it feels very soft to the touch and i fear that i might have bought a pair of shoes with a little bit of suede(leather) on the outside sole. can any of you fellow vegans out there tell me if this unknown material is indeed suede(leather) or if it is a synthetic or plant derived material. by the way, the inside tag of the shoe says ‘man made materials’, but i know that some companies consider leather a man made material for some reason. help very quickly please, im freaking out here!!!

the part of the shoe that i am talking about just in case you are not understanding what i mean is the part of the sole that actually comes into contact with the ground and can not be seen in the picture

Touch a hot match to the material quickly. if the material singes it’s probably leather. if it starts to melt it’s fake.

BTW: Shoe companies never lie about using leather since 97% of the population want’s leather shoes.
