Many vegan shoes are made of plastics. I am looking for some that are either made of biodegradable materials or recycled materials. Fair trade and vegan are important too.

I am a vegetarian, with my sights set on one day becoming vegan. I am really into Vegan Clothing, so I was wondering, what are your opinions of the best Vegan Shoes.
I’m looking more into skate shoes, I already have hemp Rainbow flipflops, and I love them, but now that the weather is colder, I dont feel like exposing my little toes.
So what do you suggest?

Any well known shoe store sell vegan high heels, or fancy Vegan Shoes. I don’t normally wear fancy shoes but I need a pair for a wedding. If I can’t find a store around here I’ll just order online, but you know how much easier it is to try shoes on and compare them to your dress so they match.
Wow, I enjoy how unhelpful people are in this section (that’s not intended for everyone). I enjoy more than they have nothing helpful to say, but still comment, good job.

Why vegan?
Leather is a good thing to make shoes out of, the cows are not killed for their leather 90% of the time, so why waste it?
It will kick the crap out of any synthetic material quality wise.

i have not worn heels since becoming vegan (about year) because the ones i usually see have leather or suede.

I know she has a vegan shoe line but on her website it says she like to drink skim milk. Is that just old?

She has a line of Vegan Shoes and does not wear leather and she actively supports animal rights. There is much confusion about her being vegan due to that, but she does eat (small) amounts of eggs and dairy.
