What should I wear tonight? (going to a bar for the first time)?
I am in NYC for a short time and I am going to a bar for the first time – what should I wear? I packed lucky jeans, a couple of Express vneck t shirts, a pair of brown leggings, grey tights, a denim skirt, a sleveless cotton empire waisted casual dress and a few tank tops. i have pearl earrings, diamond earrings and some peace earrings. i brought my every day white Vegan Sneakers, some green flats and some fake uggs (i just brought them for the bus here and back, theyre so ugly..)
what should i wear? haha
it’s not going to be cold, the low is 40 (its 66 right now!) and i have a few cardigans and of course my winter pea coat, i’m not worried about being cold. also, should i bring a purse?
V neck tee-shirt
denim skirt (its short right?)
grey/brown leggings (whichever goes better with the color of the shirt obviously)
You don’t exactly have the right shoes…
What big brand shoe manufacturers make leather free footwear for hiking?
I know this isn’t a food question but I thought a vegetarian or vegan could help. I don’t care for leather and was wondering what big brand companies (e.g. Columbia, Keen, Timberland), make leather free footwear that is suitable for hiking?
My daughter finds DSW, Payless & a few others carrying leather free products. I’m sorry I think you need to go on line or call the companies of those you listed.
Flat shoes, no heels for a very large womens foot?

vegan shoe companies?
anyone know of a place online where I can get stylish Vegan Shoes? Please don’t say moo-shoes-that’s the only suggestion I ever get and I think those are so dorky looking!!! I just want a place that actually has modern, stylish shoes for vegans-is that so much to ask?!?!
Heh? Moo Shoes has tons of shoes, do you really think every style they sell is dorky? You might also check out http://www.vegetarian-shoes.co.uk/, but you’ll find a lot of crossover; Moo Shoes sells shoes from various retailers, including Vegetarian Shoes. Your best bet would probably be to browse the Moo Shoes catalog for something you find at least slightly tolerable, see who manufactures it, then go to that manufacturer’s website to see if they have other, more current styles that are more appealing to you.
Non Leather Shoes for Starbucks??
Hi!
I’m a vegan and I just got a job at Starbucks. The manager recommended I get leather shoes, because I’ll be handling hot drinks, but of course I don’t wear leather.
Does anyone know where I can get something non-leather that’s comparable?
And hopefully cheap?
You can go to Pay-Less or WalMart to find shoes that are cheap.
OSHA just requires that you have shoes that totally cover the foot in a food preparation area.
Most people that I know wear sneakers because the rubber sole helps to keep you from slipping. They have them that look like leather. Lots of them out there that are not leather. Just read the label.
Vegan lifestyle – What to wear?
um im just curious about what materials i should avoid, other than suede, leather, cashmere, and fur. ive done that for a while now. pleather is awesome though. saved my life. i used to be addicted to coach and dooney & bourke purses. i have a collection and i still use them because im 18 and my mother would kick my ass if i sold them because you usually dont get what you bought it for. plus its like some sort of motherly thing where she bought them for me on birthdays graduations and such things …i dont know she gets koo koo about that stuff. but now im into designers that use pleather and faux fur. guess, rocawear, baby phat, etc. most of the time anyway i dont know if its exclusive.
i think shoes are the hardest. i love sneakers so im stuck on canvas shoes and i avoid leather but most shoes are made of leather.
are there any great INEXPENSIVE brands that vegans follow?
oh fuck. i didnt even think about wool…damn.
No…fricken…idea.
Sorry :[
BUT BEST OF LUCK WITH THAT! :]
By the way, converse come in so many different designs that I don’t know that it would be a problem being stuck to only canvas sneaker brands.
:]
Hope I helped… even if only a little
