The Best Non Leather Shoes
I think this is the best idea I have come across in a long time.
First let me ask, what makes Non Leather Shoes the best? What makes a Vegan Shoe worth buying? Is it comfort, design, or color? The answer to those questions is of course up to you. Your taste and your sense of style. Those are things that make your shoes the best.
Buy a pair of non leather shoes and a pair gets donated to a needy child – THAT’S WHAT I CALL A GREAT SHOE!
For every pair purchased, TOMS will give a pair of shoes to a child in need. One for One. TOMSshoes.com That’s a WIN WIN in my book. These are the hottest shoes out there. How do I know that? These are the shoes of choice for my young adult kids and their friends. When I found out that this company donates a pair of shoes for every pair sold, I stopped in my tracks and said “wow what a fantastic and easy way to give.” I felt I had to help spread the word and see what I could do to get some shoes donated to children who need them.
Are you aware of the diseases and parasites children in developing countries are exposed to? A donated pair of shoes can help protect these children from Hookworm and Schistosoma parasites not to mention many other nasty microbes.
Shoes have come a long way in the last few years. Long gone are the days of non leather shoes looking like plastic. You can easily find great vegan style shoes at TOMS Shoes!
This has got to be the easiest way to make a difference in the world. You’re giving to children in need and not harming any animals while you do it.
If you are thinking “But I need heels.” Don’t worry, they have them. You know high heel shoes are designed to make a womens leg appear longer and more attractive. (As a man, I can’t think of any other reason you would wear them.) I think the great looking boot wraps do the same thing as heels. With so many fantastic choices you will find the styles that are perfect for you. From youth shoes to large size womens shoes, there is a shoe for everyone. Seeing is believing, check em out.
Everyone needs new shoes sooner or later, so tweet, bookmark, link, or e-mail this to all your friends. Together, lets see how many non leather shoes we can get donated.

Where do you vegetarian/vegan’s get your sneakers?
I’m honestly not quite sure if my sneakers are leather or "pleather" but they are puma brand. Anyways where/what are did you get your brand of sneakers? What stores do you shop in?
I wear converse.
They are the only shoes I wear.
does any one know where i could buy rubber (MBT) and leather free shoes?
i suffer from contact dermatitis on my feet and allergy testing has shown i am allergic to leather and a rubber called mercaptobenzothiazole (MBT), so i need to find shoes that don’t contain either of these things.
impossible so far!!!
i’ve tried clarks, scholls and they contain mbt
any help appreciated!!
thanks
Sarah:
I am including a link to a doctor in Orlando Florida that specializes in these types of allergies. He has some great tips for helping you avoid MBT. He suggests certain shoes and even talks about using inserts to avoid contact with rubber if you have a shoe that you love and still want to wear. He also lists lots of other products that include MBT.
It is probably well worth the time to read what he has to say.
